We’re continuously recruiting volunteers to join our team to deliver an exceptional service to our children, young people, adults and families. We support our volunteers by providing resources to enable them to make informed choices about their health and education. We also support in building their confidence and aspirations.
Our volunteers will be working on a range of projects related to education, health & wellbeing, communities and heritage, so we welcome applications from all backgrounds, interests and levels of experience.
We do require our volunteers to be aged18 or over.
Volunteers required to work closely with children will also be subject to anenhanced DBS checkand must provide references.
In order to deliver our plans for 2023 and beyond, we are working hard to capacity build. We’re doing this by forming partnerships and creating a network of stakeholders comprising organisations that support our aim to build resources and accumulate tools that are readily accessible and available to Black families across the borough of Southwark.
Through working partnerships, we hope to form a self-sustaining network that enables Black parents to also access opportunities that will enable them and their children to achieve their full potential in their education and career paths.
